Hi Alex, Jim just notified me of this post and I have a bit of info that may be of some help to you hopefully. For starters a lot of spin fishers that use the metal blade spinners such as Mepps, Celtas etc very rarely use braid line as for some reason it doesn't seem suited to this type of fishing. ...

'' LOONGANA STILL BEAUTIFUL AND FISHLESS TOO.'' 12-5-14 With no wind and a bright blue sky I headed up to Loongana above the Leven Canyon to have a spin session around 10.30 am. The Leven River above the Loongana Bridge is classed as rainbow trout water and is still open until midnight 1st June 2014...
