Take the littlies to the end of the new pier on the right hand side with chicken for bait and they will have a ball on the small pinkies, whiting flathead etc.. Then when its bedtime for them, you head to the breakwall ...

Just left of the boat ramp, between the ramp and the pier in 2 -3 metres is a good area to start

Maybe look at something around 4.5 meres with a canopy. At least they will have a bit of shelter. I have had the savage safari 455 and they arfe a great boat for the bay

The bearings need to be "packed" before you install them otherwise you dont get grease between the bearings, only on the outside. It is a messy job so lots of rags, a bit of old fuel in a bucket to throw the old stuff in to give em a clean and use them as spares

I was in the garage today here are the rods I have 2 10 ft ledger rods one 11 ft ledger rod ledger fishing is is with a weight on the bottom A 12 ft and a 15 ft float rod Great days I used to fish exford weir before nightshifts catching carp by the ton. The second to the right are the cages i use ....

Seeing those wagglers brings back many memories for me. All I have left are my lead plummets and slingshot and the float rod. I think its a 12 ft abu garcia zircon from memory

I used to get in there two ways (this was 25 years ago so entry might be different now!)Firstly down Chambers Rd. We used to be able to drive right through to the creek but I believe it is blocked now so park at the end and walk in. Also off Kororoit Ck rd there is a dirt track along side the train...
