Re: Grantville peir fishing
I’m actually moving down there next year, pretty interested in the yak fishing. How much time do you usually get out there without being caught dragging the yak through the mud?Tim399 wrote:I have fished grantville from my kayak, it’s good stuff

Re: Grantville peir fishing
Not sure exactly what the OP is actually after, but it’s a good spot to get a gummy. That being said, like most land based stuff you have to be prepared to put in the hours and have a couple of donut trips along the way. Re: More Protection For Stingrays, Skates And Banjos
Have never seen any of these fish treated poorly when caught. However, if they become plagued in WP, I’m sure I will see it happen. The pier ruling is a slap in the face. Used to HATE scuba divers at Mornington, always cutting my line.... #sinkersaway

Re: Looking for some mullet!
Was actually going to post something today regarding mullet. Twice I have gone down to Tooraddin (Sawtells inlet) with a trap, burleyed substantially, yet have not even seen any mullet in the inlet, let alone had any in the trap or on the hook. I have been going fairly late - heading down no more th...

Re: Using Tea in Smoker
Thinking of last time I tried slimy’s I think smoking them would definitely improve them. Not really experienced with smoking fish myself so not sure how the tea would go, but I don’t see why not.
Where did you catch them?

Re: slow day.
Nice one... Love me a 50cm+ flattie!!
Your slow boat day sounds like a LB fisho's gem of a day hahaha
From what I've been hearing there were lots of donuts on the snapper front over the w/e
Salmon apparently still everywhere tho in massive numbers
