havent lived anywhere else but went upto hervey bay when i was 14 back in august 2002, walked out to the beach 50m away from my grandparents caravan @ about 8-9pm at night...using a 6 and a half foot $15 jarvis walker telescopic rod that i took on the plane with me, using size 6 hooks and bean sink...

when i went upto hervey bay (in qld) 13 years ago they were all using bass yabbies, and me being a young teen at the time and scared to get nipped by them (lol) went off and bought some sandworm... it did much better than the bass yabbies....everytime down here though ive used sandworms as bait they...
