Re: Tackleworld

No one bought the stores nor the tackleworld buying group, especially BCF. BUT, Paul had to bury all ties to Tackleworld and his shops hence closing down, as the open secret is he is taking up a media/marketing role with Super Retail Group to become the public face of BCF. Kramer will probably hang...

Re: From fresh to salt on finesse baitcast

Shimano got any reels suited for that type of fishing? Not for years locally unless parrallel imported. An old Curado 50E could be tuned with aftermarket stuff for BFS. Re: Looking at purchasing my first boat

Yeah, a friend vouched for the Quintrex Busta 420, or the Stacer Rampage 429, which you're complete right - exactly the same boat pretty much. Removed the comment, not to give the impression that I already had my mind made up haha! After looking into quite a few makes and models, you're right about...

Re: Looking at purchasing my first boat

Was I dreaming it or did you mention someone somewhere else recommended a Quinnie Busta or Stacer Rampage? Well, they're the exact same boats now, with different stickers. But you'll have to double your budget (or finance the rest) to get in one of them new. Tiller is the ultimate casting platform. ...

Re: Melbourne boat show October 20-23 / 2022

I'd think that there would be a nice range of boats, from your smaller 2022-23 model tinnies to your overly expensive $$$ boats, but it appeared that everything was focused towards the more expensive boats. A lot of that would be manufacturer delays. Telwater are running up to 6 months+ wait times ...

Re: IMO.Don't waist your time going to the Melbourne boat show.

Mate that 15k tinny is your affordable these days. Don't know if you've been paying attention at all, but you're struggling to get change out of 10k for a 3.5m tinny, trailer and little 9.9hp motor brand new...
