A 8lb 8oz (3.85kg) wild brown trout that I caught & released in the River Leven way back in April 2018, it was caught on a small $5-00 hard body. A couple of nice trout, given the conditions you did well. :tu: I've had that same problem with the trout hitting the lure side on, nines times out of ten they miss being hooked which can be pretty frustrating that's for sure. :sn:

Thanks Sebb & Dennis..
