Vic RFL to be reviewed!
Better late than never I guess! People who currently have exemptions may lose their exemption! Not a bad thing and they still may have a reduced price. I have a concession card...disability part time work only sort of thing. In Vic I am not exempt so pay my way. In NSW' I am exempt so don't pay....m...

Re: BIG CATS SPOTTED SWIMMING AT LAKE PURRUMBETE
What ever happened about this project ? did it go ahead ? I've not heard anymore about it ? https://vfa.vic.gov.au/recreational-fishing/recreational-fishing-guide/catch-limits-and-closed-seasons/types-of-fish/freshwater-scale-fish/tiger-trout I heard a rumour from a reliable source that the tigers ...

Re: *NEW SITE FEATURE* Like Button
Originally I thought this was s good idea! If you like somebodies post...hit the like button! Apparently it may be quicker to quote them and then respond with a suitable emoticon! Now I have no doubt set myself up for someone to do it to me! Cheers Team Bender Can we have a 'FFS' button? (Or emotico...

Re: A report about...nothing!
That was fun! Spent half the day at Numurkah targeting my elusive 1.5 metre carp that I have set as a goal...yep, I've raised the bar!!! Bait for the day was yabbies, one actually as it saw me through the day and it was released alive at the end of its tour of duty. May have been a different outcome...

Re: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TROUT LURE?
You should have tried them out before!!! I think the blade design may also make them a bit more snag resistant as well.
Cheers

Re: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TROUT LURE?
Mepps Aglia & Black Fury lures are my favorites (as if you guys wouldn't know :-D ) this season will be my 55th year of using them, each season 90-95% of the trout I catch are taken on them.. Impressive!!!! The new 'XD' spinners....try them without a plastic keel. They are identical to Panther Mart...

Scotty Jordan incubator loading.
Hi all Last week one of my mates talked me into going to Snobs Creek hatchery for the day and helping out with the loading/placing whatever, of trout eggs into the Scotty Jordan incubators. I first become aware of these when I attended my first 'Talk Wild Trout' conference. Basically, the fertilised...

Re: Target One Million....is it working?
It would be good if we could see a running total somewhere of the number of participants or licence holders of the “one million”. There is no exact way to determine this I would think. Not all people fishing require a license. And I have heard a rumour that the rise in licenced fishos may not be th...

Target One Million....is it working?
Hi all Whilst fisheries have a grand plan of attracting a gazillion people to fishing, I am wondering if they are achieving their goal? I have heard unnoficially that some research has pointed to the fact that the T1M campaign may not be attracting that many people to fishing. What have members here...
