Re: Ideal spot for beginner kayaker.

Safety Beach is an easy launch, and no stress. Just watch out for idiot boaties and Jetskiers. Shoot me a message if you want to try WP one day, as Cheater said, there are a lot of options on the East side. West side, Somers and Flinders are good too.

Love to know more though, looks like a good spot!
No, the Marine National Park starts at the rocky outcrop south of Tongue Point and goes around to the other side.

Re: Tenby Point

Not a bad spot, some good land based fish have been pulled in there. Only place similar is maybe Lang Lang Beach.
Easier access, but a lot more popular due to that reason. Corinella Pier always fishes well, but has a roaring current at Mid tide.

Head to Rod Bendings on the Main Drag Opposite "slice of paradise" bakery (45 different Pies, worth a visit)
Helpful blokes, and they do a little map of what fish bite where. Worth a look.

Re: Sandy Point

Its one of my favourite LandBased areas :) Firstly ignore where everyone else is Fishing, as they all just go round the corner. Steel yourself for a 5-10 min walk, (with the sand becoming soft and up to your shins) and set up between the 2nd and 3rd buoys, facing back north with the Surf beach direc...
