He is right, you do find some really rude people out on the pier. They think they own it for some reason. But at the same time, its easy to strike up a conversation most of the time. No offence but the younger ones are more keen to help. What gets me with Altona, is i dont think there is ever never ...

Sorry for not updating. Went to Brighton, but went out on the boat launching pier, with the grill base. Few nibbles, lost bait etc, but too dark and boats coming in. Caught this flattie tonight on the TT lure 1/2 ounce in Red Nightmare. Took it on the first cast at night, Kerford Pier. ONly this is the paint seems to chip after an outing.

Heading out to Brighton tonight, will post how it goes. Hoping to catch whiting or pinkies. I have rigged my line with two sizes of hooks, for either.

I gave some sp's a shot today, but no avail, too much see weed in the water getting stuck on the jigheads and swivels.

Tips around sea weed, and snags on river beds.

Had a day out today, Altona Pier, too much sea weed around. Then went to the Maribyrnong River, Brimbank Park, and lost 2 jigheads, one with squidgy and one with gulp. Then i lost a el cheapo wobbler on first cast, and then had a really good session with a Berkeley frenzy until it succumbed to a sna...
