Not 100% sure but I think berkley make one that is lighter.. sure u would be able to find 1.. alternatively I would use a squid rod if u have 1

No daiwa surf gear here. You must be thinking about someone else.. adding weight further up the main line may help.. what is the cast weight of your rod as the duplex is lighter than the bezel and I find a much better action

By the way purple I wouldnt add weight in front of lure as it would cange the action of the lure

Not sure if they have any left but fishing fever had some weighted sinking bibbed lures.. the ones I use are "maria - duplex 80s" (28 grams) and "tackle house - bezel" (36 grams) I can post ebay links if u guys like. I use a weighted bibbed lure.. much more realistic and I find a slow retrieve to be best on the salmon at frankston

In that case movearound or under the people that are casting over u.. the maori guys there are a friendly bunch as long as u can cast straight they are happy for u to fish with them.. these problems do happen while pier fishing.. no use getting angry with it just laugh and be greatful u hooked up an...
