Re: New boat option
What's the reason for wanting a cat? I don't think you'll reap any benefits in that size and honestly the mono hull tinnies of that size will probably give better performance. I think in my mind just the stability of them and the level of floatation achieved. Deck space at that size as well. Open t...

Re: Buying new boat trailer - recommendations?
Mackay roller trailer best design and quality IMO. Dunbier bought Mackay out years ago and manufacture them side by side. There's Easytow and Savage. Then you've got the import and put together here Precision and Towrex. Owned by Dunbier by yes but still the Mackay design which is superior. The Mac...

Re: Trout, successful invasive species?
Prior to salmonid and redfin, (and carp), some lakes can have other natives like cod, yellas, and bass. But what would lakes like purumbette be like? Just galaxias and that's it? Bullen Merri was stocked with Bass, and they're giant footballs. The depth and colder waters just make them harder to ca...

Re: 20HP outboard for 4.2M soft inflatable?
You will need 30Hp minimum ideally 40Hp.
You wont be able to get on the plane with 20Hp.
