Not species-specific, but taking lure, squid and bait set ups.
Not exactly pt leo, but I've fished somers beach, which isnt too far from there. Caught kgw. Pretty sure there's squid there too.

Shooting this message for anyone keen for a kayak, Heading out off Clifton Springs 8am to catch the high run out tide with light W winds. Drifting for squid, flathead, etc. Also, they're starting dredging soon! I'd join if its S wind. I sold my Slayer 10 propel kayak, and now I'm using hand paddle ...

I'd say the ovens between wangaratta and Bright.
The closer tk Bright, the clearer the water, but more trouty than cod. The rivers and creeks flow into the ovens would have cod too.
