Re: Wanted! Daiwa Certate and Shimano Sustain
Fe's aren't worth more than $150 now... New ones, forget it. That said Sustains are just stradics in a different guise and a couple of bearings added

Re: which is better? cape woolamai or cape schanck
Shows how fussy the pricks are. All the guys I know have struggled at woolamai the past month either finding no fish or fish just not interested and found feeding fish to the west behind the island

Right now, neither. The bulk of the fish I'm seeing are coming from between the 2 places

Re: Where to put console!! Opinions/Suggestions
I'd put it centre back. Why?
1. Chops up on the lake and you've got to cross, better ride than up front.
2. More room up front for any casting work under bow mount electric power.
3. Closer to the rods when trolling.
4. More storage options as far as weight distribution goes.

Re: Portland - Early April
The 10ks will be fine for most school fish. They're boring to catch on the heavier gear... That said the tuna could end up being way out on the shelf all the time you're there and in close when you get back, it's an unknown until the day. Plenty of Gummies and Whiting should still be around. Kings t...

Wilson's are on the radar. Can get live fibres for a very good price. But, the whole pigeon pairing of Kingmacks in spin and overhead draws me back in

What else is there?
99% have my heart set on a Tcurve Kingmack spin for the new gosa to have a pigeon pair...
But what other similar options are out there anyone has used? Not Terez, nice rods, just not for me in either colour

Anything. And a darts style throw of the stinking pieces of crap as far away from the boat as possible. You can all keep them away from me!fishing.fury wrote:what rigs and hook size does everyone use for elephants
