Re: Advice on French Island and Cowes

I have seen the navionics maps and there are red and green markers just after the bridge and a green marker near Cleeland which I need to stay on the shore side of. But any chance that the tide wou...

Missing Thrust Washer and Bung Story

Last year, decided to check my propeller in the dark after a trip out. I know not a good idea but thought that I had hit a fishing line and was going to be going out the next day first thing in the morning so had little choice but to check it that night. In any case, first time taking out the prop t...

Can you go to French Island on your boat?

Re: Safety Equipment

My fire extinguisher is 2 years now. I checked it and it’s still charged and good. How do I go and get it stamped or checked that it’s still ok? Don’t want to get into trouble with water police. Thanks.

Re: Outboard service cost

For a 2018 Yamaha 90HP 4 stroke outboard, do I need to bring it to a yamaha authorized dealer to service it to maintain warranty or can I get a mobile mechanic to do it? I was quoted $500 by a dealer.

Thanks!

Re: Can squid smell ?

In that case, the Yamashita expert, Eisuke, is wrong. He says that they dont use scent on their jigs because it does not work.

Hi guys and gals, New here to the forum. Been kayaking for what seems like my entire life. Love kayaking and getting out on the water whenever possible, love the freedom of getting out on the water.
