Yes guys they were scaling them.Asked what bait they used corn & bread I suggested.No corn just a mixture was the answer. From a distance it was a fair lump on the hook.Could have been a boilie they make up.they also got some small reddies.

Eppalock carp

Went to Eppalock with my family and grannies this arvo for Aus day.These two guys had been fishing since 10am and with European backgrounds were fishing for carp and they did OK.they were at kimbolton swimming area in shallow water.

They are not cheap Dave about $50 +p&h.But wait there's more if you bought 1 yesterday you get another free!!!!! And to top it off, if you don't catch a fish first cast you can return it and get money back.My luck I would cast straight onto a snag and lose it before the fish had a chance. image.jpeg

Rechargable twitching lure

Just been flicking channels tv and come across a ad on Gold for twitching lures .they catch any type of fish and sometimes catch too many.WTF are they selling now.Ok you gadget guys own up who has 1 in their tackle box.i bet Davek has . :rofl: :a_goodjob: cheers gus

Thanks guys for your Imput. I've checked what I did yesterday and the join is holding firm.the transducer moves up and down the mounting bracket freely .ii seems like the plastic cap has bonded ok.The copper stitching over the join has strenthened the whole join now.cheers gus

Thanks guys .i had another thought today and decided to strengthen the melted joint with some electrical copper wire .Only bloke in the world who couldn't put a hand on a Lego block when required.Took the cap of a empty turps bottle and cut some strips to melt the copper over and around the join.Won...

I noticed my fish finder transducer was Broken at the mounting bracket today.ive never had any luck with so called plastic glue repair kits.I did a bit of research on the net and I decided to weld the joint together using my electric soldering iron.After 10 minutes I'd welded the two parts together ...
