That`s just daft to be honest mate. If all the blokes who are currently knocking them on the head started releasing them, I think there would be a difference, you`ve got to draw a line somewhere. I'd be hitting Marlo. You've more species to target there (Bream, Bass, EP's, Flattys, Luderick etc).
Apart from fishing the river/s, you can also hit the surf beach for some cracker Salmon on lures.
