When I caught one I just cooked it exactly like I would for calamari. I scored it, floured it and fried it and it tasted awesome.

Hi all,
Was thinking of going to lorne tomorrow to chase some squid. Any tips on tide, jigs etc.? Anything is appreciated

Anyone caught anything over the Geelong/Queenscliff side of the bay?

Well, I went to Queenscliff and tried the harbour and the pier.. not a single squid was caught by myself or anyone. Caught heaps of luderic and leatherjacket in the harbour though :/
