Gday Mate Personally I think don't bother fishing there. many years ago b4 the pier was closed on the left handside I use to catch heaps of fish there trevally, leatherjackets flatties etc, but most of the pier is perm closed due to the terrorists attacks the gov decided to try and protect our boats...

nice effort goodluck with a gummy or 2.. where abts r u trying for a gummy? tenby point or jam jerrup?? went for a walk a few days ago to stockyards point only saw one guy setting up for a fish .I thought u could catch bream and a few other varieties at powlett river too. anyone fishing there? cheer...

thanks for the update . atleast u had a crack and caught a few ..well done. I have never tried the fishing there yet. whats the go with parking ? is it metered or can u park down the side streets?
