Mate they are everywhere, I hate it even more when I see it at some of the trout streams. Good on you for picking it up. Also just saw this post on Fishbrain, it’s unbelievable.
If they are eating tiny things out of Moonee ponds creek, they won’t around for long.
So some solace there.

Re: Because of Whiskers's accident

True story from a few years back from a mate who is/was a court reporter. A gentleman was fronting the court because he had been caught eating road kill. The judge gave him a figurative smack on the wrist and as proceedings were finishing up, in front of a packed room, the judge asked "just as a mat...

Re: Covid-19 discussion

Observationally mostly what I see on this forum regarding this so called Pandemic, is ill informed or simple regurgitated spin from media. Sadly as has been noted, “Common Sense is not so common anymore” If anyone has cared to watch, read or listen to various comments & even predictions from season...

Re: Coliban River 30/5/20

I fished lauriston near the dam wall for a sum total of zero fish from zero bites. Tried powerbait, worms and a variety of lures. A few other people were nearby and they were equally busy. The guys on the hobies may have done better but I didn’t see them come back in.
And it was chilly. Brrrrrr.

There is a huge one down at Lorne. Steals every decent fish and scares the hell out of you when surfing.
