There are plenty of people on this forum that are in the zones of doom. Including me.
The fish in the Maribyrnong will be celebrating tonight.

It’s also a terrifying place to surf. Heavy water.

I fished lauriston near the dam wall for a sum total of zero fish from zero bites. Tried powerbait, worms and a variety of lures. A few other people were nearby and they were equally busy. The guys on the hobies may have done better but I didn’t see them come back in.
And it was chilly. Brrrrrr.

There is a huge one down at Lorne. Steals every decent fish and scares the hell out of you when surfing.

I’m going to pop down to the Nong and burley up some toadies.
