Big morning on the Ting at St Leonards

A light westerly and high tide at 4.30am meant near perfect conditions for KGW and saw 40 fish ranging from 34-40cm landed between the two of us. St Leonards is the choice whiting spot but there will be a lot of boats out.

It was slow going for us yesterday to, we got 7 but it took 5hrs and we were in a boat, maybe too calm and too sunny?
