Re: Show us your purchases!
Went to my local outdoors retailer today to grab some stuff for yakking + camping. Grabbed one of those UV resistant breathable face shield thingos for sunny days out kayaking and hiking, still trying to figure out how to wear it without looking like a complete twit lol. IMG_1532.JPG Also grabbed a ...

Re: Show us your purchases!
I’ve been dabbling in a bit of deer hunting recently. This combined with the fact that the kids are a bit older we’ve done a bit of family camping. I haven’t enjoyed needing to fill the car to the gills and still not have room for bikes or other gear. With this in mind I designed up a 4wd trailer an...

Re: Stkilda pier report
Great LB haul. Im new to plastics, how do you work them? Cheers in advance mate. Let it sink while keeping a tight line, watch the line till it goes slack when it hit the bottom and then give it a double hop, tighten you line up and repeat back your feet, if you feel a good hit, lift your rod sharp...

Re: King Parrot Creek donuts
The better fishing in the King Parrot is further downstream between Strath Creek and Kerrisdale but it is very overgrown now and you need to do plenty of bush bashing.

Re: North Shore, flat and no red
Nice writeup; you should give Stingaree Bay a crack for flatties and whiting... Thanks. Never fished there before, good place within kayak distance? Sat gonna be 20-25kmh south west wind, not a bad idea to fish stingaree bay. Straight out from the boat ramp? As much as I want kgw, I also want a big...

Re: Lagoon Pier or Kerferd Road Pier?
I have caught many snappers from both those piers. Lagoon casting from the bend can be good or from the end box.
Kerferd I have caught and seen some beauties caught just half way up the pier on the left side. In coming tide and preferably a southerly blowing.

Re: Albert Park 14/11/2019 afternoon quickie
Nice EP seb
I always find the northern end to be more productive especially after dark with brighter coloured shallow divers. Never had any luck with plastics.
I'm still hunting my first AP yella, what about you?
cheers
