I would get the biggest deep cycle battery that fits and invest in a trickle charger that you connect when you get home. That way it is kept at the optimal voltage and will last longer. I have always done this with boats and cars In the past that don't get used much and never had any problems.

Just a question for the mechanical people. I noticed today while finishing off my service on 30hp 3 cyl yamaha, that one of the oil lines from the oil tank has a slight nick in it. Thanks for the replies guys.
The bearings are definitely beded in properly I always do it how Bugs said. I will check again in a week or so after they have done a few km and see if it has changed.

This should also be done as part of routine maintenance so that any lost sinkers, hooks etc can be removed before they start rusting and corrosion starts on the hull.
