Plenty of undersized fish this time of year. In. Sometimes there's aussie salmon in the mouth. Mornington pier, frankston pier, all are good spots. But gotta go in the right time of the year for the bigger ones to play. Get one of this book, helped me a lot. Great book, recommend it. X2 I remember ...

Ouch ... Good thing is, it'll be the beginning of summer by then, just when the fish are biting hot.
Meanwhile, focus on healing and resting, dont prolong it.

My advice to new members is to obtain a copy of the Landbased Guide for Port Phillip and Corio bays, there is one for Western Port as well

Flinders is doing well for squid and rye too if your looking for some.

I pretty much fish primarily Eastern WP today was average thats the way things go sometimes. Cheers for the heads up mate normally this time of year I have no problems getting a bag.
