Plenty of undersized fish this time of year. In. Sometimes there's aussie salmon in the mouth. Mornington pier, frankston pier, all are good spots. But gotta go in the right time of the year for the bigger ones to play. Get one of this book, helped me a lot. Great book, recommend it. X2 I remember ...

Ouch ... Good thing is, it'll be the beginning of summer by then, just when the fish are biting hot.
Meanwhile, focus on healing and resting, dont prolong it.

My advice to new members is to obtain a copy of the Landbased Guide for Port Phillip and Corio bays, there is one for Western Port as well

Here is mine cost about $450 about 5 years ago its a bit big I bought a 6.5 to 7 mt one no holes it has been good

The ones from Supercheap Auto are a bit cheaper than Nude Up's. They are around $100 - $130. They are waterproof and do a good job so long as you can keep them taught so the rain runs off before it can form a puddle. They are pretty light though and i find i need to buy a new one every 2 years or so...
