Re: *NEW SITE FEATURE* Like Button

Excellent!!! Can like a report without a 'nice fish' comment! One can also use it as a 'thank you' button if someone helps you. Some people may go off their nuts posting thinking it is a popularity contest...believing they will hit the front. This won't work!!! Members will likely hit the button by ...

Re: What are you good at, average and not very good? With tips and tricks

Good at buying stuff I don't need! Good at 'picking' brains for info. Not where to go, more so how to do things and I have the ability to ask the right questions to get the most out of whoever I am interrogating! We have some great talent here in our local tackle stores. What is my 'bad' aspect...I ...

Re: Fished Somers for Doughnuts

Despite not catching anything you still had a good outcome....advice on the location for the next time. It is also good to see a 'donut' report. Many people can't get past their ego to post details when they weren't a raging success on the water.

Re: "Big Redfin" challenge

Once upon a time the majority of my fishing was targeting redfin in local channels. Of course the goal was to get a bigger fish although I never had a set target...a '50' would be good. As it stands now my PB is around the 44 cm mark....my PW (personel worst) would be around 5! All of my fishing was...

Re: "Big Redfin" challenge

Redfin are good eating! So if you want a feed...better eating an introduced species. On saying that, I rarely eat them. Trout are also introduced so feel free to eat them as well. For some people, redfin may be the most abundant fish in their area or their only other option is carp. I like many othe...

Re: Show us your purchases!

A local tacklestore salesperson asked me a couple weeks ago if I wanted a couple Doof Doc (cod food spelt backwards) lures. They don't sell them there but he is good friends with the guy that makes them...the lures had been made for someone else who couldn't pick them up. The lures will likely not b...

Re: Ebay win tonight bargain or POS

Will you use it for bait fishing or lure fishing? Despite the name, the low profile baitcast reels are used for lure fishing. In the US, as well as other places, they call lures 'baits'. If you use it for bait fishing and you have to cast it, using a paternoster rig makes it easier. Having the main ...
