That pier is my first preferernce if i were to fish a Geelong pier,when the water clarity gets better. I wonder what the water clarity is like there at the moment.I never caught whiting on that pier,but the one before CunningHam,iwas catching nice 41 and 42 cm fat ones.

My question was can you or i take salt water from a pier legally.I wont say who just yet,but he replied,only on high tide or i would get a fine.

I will ask the guy from fishing mad, if it is safe to eat fish from there at this time of the year. I suppose many people eat fish caught in docks and Yarra river.

Today is a 10 year anniversary i caught my bag limit in half hour in that area all around 5 kg.That whole area Sebb mentioned is dynamite. Nice wind at the moment and about 22c at 4am. Good luck anyone fishing that area this weekend.
