I wouldn’t start of piers around Melbourne most of them don’t fish well

I would start with Redfin to be honest if you know how to use soft plastics and hard body’s you’ll know how to catch most species.

There's fish in marybrnong river. Best is to start with where you want to fish and ask here in the forum and local tackle shops.

Use worm as bait in marybrnong river after rain or if the water is clear and hasn't been raining, use peeled prawn as bait.

No I haven't to be honest. where would be an ideal place or spot to start? Maybe start by trying to catch some mullet or gar...
