Re: Melbourne's worst bream fisherman
Headed down to the docks late last night into the early morning, first opportunity this week and I sure know how to pick them. Had to brace everytime the gale approached in the distance haha. Anyways, still donuts but some minor improvements, had some bites at least. One on an aqua prawn rigged to 1...

Re: Sea Worm ID
I saw something swimming topwater as well late on Friday night at North Wharf. It was big enough that I thought it was an eel but it didn't react one bit when I dropped my bait right in front of its nose. Even when I gave it a nudge with my rod tip it just kept on swimming about as it had before. I...

That being said I've gone ahead and emailed the minister as I am definitely an advocate for a sustainable future and if that means less pr...

Docks and Ponds
Another sesh down at the docks and the ponds. Why do I keep going back? This clip sums it up --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EuW_-6HY78&ab_channel=tonynunezmma.com Inner city addiction, even though it usually yields next to nothing, there is something satisfying catching bream right in the hear...

Kayak Lessons and Launch Spots
Hi all, Been a while since I've seen much local Melbourne posts. Thought I'd start some chatter... Got a pedal kayak about a year ago. Spent about a year researching what fit my purposes and budget and landed on a propel 10. Been an absolute game changer for me, always hated fishing off of land only...

Re: Kayak Lessons and Launch Spots
I'll have to give those spots a go, been widening my range as the confidence builds. Been meaning to try launch into Patterson River/Lakes, see some big bream people catch on YouTube. Im in the same boat as you, no pun intended, regarding Stony Point. Looks like a great spot but more factors to cons...
