Campaspe River Report
I haven't been on much the last few months due to working 7 days a week since January so no fishing either but I did manage to go for a fish with the Boys. After seeing a couple of reports of the yellas going ok we decided to give the Campaspe a go. My sons were fishing with worms and yabbies and I ...

Day trip looksee.
Had a day out on Friday. Fished Laanecoorie, the Loddon River and on the way home stopped in at Tullaroop for a peek. Consistency is my aim with fishing and once again I got donuts. Shore based only. Sorry to say that road access to Laanecoorie Weir is blocked. Used to fish just near the wall for mi...

I started off at my favourite bridge and flicked under it for a good hour, no luck. Moved to all the different bridges a...

Re: Keilor Village Maribinong River Fishing
Just got back from another session down in keilor.
Caught a fat 37cm Tench, and 2 small redfin on worms in an hour.
This little spot is proving to be pretty damn fun!

Re: Cornacarpio's Cumulative Carp Culling Caper
Headed down to the creek today in (relatively) frigid conditions to try and catch a carp. In fact, the only reason I even bothered was that I got snapped off by a big Bertha the day before yesterday (Thursday), so I had some unfinished business to take care of! My trip today mirrored my unsuccessful...

Re: Back to the Upper Coliban
I went fishing at the Upper Coliban on Monday to stretch my fishing legs after the shutdown. Even on a borderline cold day I counted at least eight cars from the carpark and I didn't drive the extra click or so around to the next carpark! It was busy enough so that all my usual spots were taken. I ...
