Re: Corona Virus Part 3
Oh... poor Stompjumper! I’m new here so I’m guessing your little rant is just a joke. Can you explain to us dumb arses what ‘communist’ and ‘republic’ mean and how they relate in any way at all to our State? Well you must be new to Victoria too, not to have noticed what's going on. The state has sh...

Re: Corona Virus Part 3
Gee Jude, I think we all agree that everyone is entitled to an opinion but it counts for a lot more if its expressed in calm, "civil" language. I just don't reckon that terms like "Chairman Dan" and "Socialist/Communist wet dream" can do much to promote constructive discussion. I'm a bit surprised t...

Re: Corona Virus Part 3
Hey fellas ... Inhale .. holds .. then exhale !!! ... now you all feel better. If we can all take a pause and appreciated what a dammed lucky country we are in RIGHT NOW - wouldn't like to be anywhere else (even interstate) trying to tough it out with this pandemic. Whether you like Dan the Man or S...

Re: Fishing tackle technology over the years.
I still have family up there and get back reasonably often. Getting back to this thread - I am a bit confused. You seem to be suggesting that because of the wonderful difficult spots you now get into, only $500 gear will do the job. The question really is, would you still catch fish there with a $1...

In The Line of Duty
Deepest Condolences and Sympathies to the families of the four officers whom lost their lives while performing their duty to protect our community. It's never a good time to loose a loved one but it is much much more harder under the current climate - Hope their families find the strengths to get th...

Re: Covied safe app
Seriously can not understand why people are more trusting of foreign owned companies with their data than their own elected government. Because it isn't foreign owned companies that put you under house arrest or fine you for going for a drive or sunbaking at the beach, or God forbid go fishing. Gee...

Re: Covied safe app
I’d be more concerned about most other applications on my phone such as google maps, facebook, instagram etc We’ve already given our lives over to the tech giants so what is one more app going to do? Might help the government track Covid a bit better "They" can track our money, our holidays, our li...

Re: Covied safe app
The reason our transmission rate is so low is because of the lockdowns imposed. Once they get lifted it will only take one case undetected in the community to start it again. This app is to try and help trace those case contacts so that those people can be put into lockdown instead of all the rest o...

Re: Covied safe app
Definate yes for me, I don't understand all the hesitation, I'm out in the community as part of my work, I want to know who I come in contact with that might have the virus, as for being traced or whatever they can go their hardest as my life is quite boring except for fishing
