Campaspe River Report
I haven't been on much the last few months due to working 7 days a week since January so no fishing either but I did manage to go for a fish with the Boys. After seeing a couple of reports of the yellas going ok we decided to give the Campaspe a go. My sons were fishing with worms and yabbies and I ...

Re: My 2018/19 Trout season Report..
WOW and wow Adrian. Very impressive on all levels. Very interesting to see the "learning curve" in the first few years, for both learning on the angling side and the learning about the rivers too. Now I use my smart phone which is a Telstra branded basic phone. The photos aren't the greatest quality but my photo taking skills are about of the same cal...

Re: Fresh Pipis! 2 Different YUMMY WAYS TO COOK!
Mmmm, love this thread. Never thought of Kilpatrick Style , , , , definitely going to give those a go. Most important part with Pipis is to purge them in seawater for 24 hours. Some place them in a bag and submerge them in a bucket with "brought home" seawater. I find this method doesn't get all the...

Re: Fresh Pipis! 2 Different YUMMY WAYS TO COOK!
Nice one Bug.
My favourite is white wine pasta.
Pipis white wine olive oil and lid on. Once cooked, open lid and throw everything else.

Trout lures/flies discussion
Calling all trout masters or anyone. Trout rivers are closing soon for them to spawn and all (in Victoria it's the Queens birthday weekend in June), often a lot of people are out there trying to get the big spawning trouts with various methods. Trout can be picky at times but math the hatch often wo...
