evening lads, heading out towards Sorrento/portsea on sunday targeting a feed of squid/whiting as you do anyone had any luck there recently? also thinking of throwing out a bigger bait like squid head/salmon fillet can you get snapper/gummys out that way? p.s fishing in a boat.. thanks in advance fellas :)

Had an absolute field day on squid out off rye a few weeks back man...... 3-4meters of water and just kept drifting over the same area, mind you the water was crystal clear don't know what it will be like with this rain and wind we have had.... Whiting has slowed right down out there but could probably pick up a few if u put the effort in!! For gummys head out deep......

cheers bro got a few marks I wanna try.. got heaps of squid heads from a few days ago might even throw a rod out over reef for a red ;)

It's 1c now on Sunday. Not sure whether I want to go out fishing.... so cold. ..
