Coz down in the Peninsula the sea is at your door step so you just follow Mike advice and just do it!! Whereas Mitcham is surrounded by trees so they tend to theorize about fishing in advance before they can reach the sea to practice it!! :)

I went to one by Gwain about 18 months ago at Compleat Angler and they spoke about all sorts of other nonsense unrelated to KGW so I can't say I'd be in a hurry to recommend this event.

Went to a "snapper talk" with Gawaine cpl years back down edithvale/carrum way and he is a wealth of information. Having a commercial perspective, he has plenty of reasoning/science in his methods which I think many amateurs could take note from!!
