None at St Leonards at the moment Water temp is 11.5C
No Greeks out=No FUSH

Ah well, cant complain, we have had an outstanding season. Fisheries are predicting the next couple of years in PPB to be a bit slower due to poor recruitment, havent heard about WPB, but I would assume it would be the same.

Also, I dont think you have to be greek to get onto the whiting ;)

A big 45cm King George Whiting I caught last saturday pier fishing on the Mornington Peninsula using a patanosta rig. Even though it was bucketing down with rain, catching my biggest ever whiting, definitely made up for the poor weather.
I've attached some pics of the whiting, take a look!

Thats a ripper whiting

The ones ive been catching at st leanards have just been size..nothing big

ok so me and dad are going out into port Phillip bay for the first time and wondering where the most productive whiting/ squid grounds are white tide and time, any gps marks will happily be accepted in exchange for some westernport marks. thankyou :water:
