Great catch again Denis.
Interested in the appearance of your fillets where it seems that you take a shallow fillet off one side leaving the whole rib cage to be cleaned out on the other.I,ve been in the habit of taking fillets that both require boning out.
Am I correct in this assumption?
Happy to listen to your instruction given the quantities you catch.

Blue
After Fish caught I put them in a scaling bag to clean all slime and scales off
Take a fillet off both sides and leave skin on
Use a fork to hold fillet rib cage up then slice all bones off
Doesnt matter if I waste a bit of meat on each one as this feeds the local Pelicans

I follow the tides and clouds
No Pinkies or Sealice at the moment
I havent had to measure a Fish for months-They are all good size Fat Ones
Get most fish at about 1/2 hour before first light then they go off bite about 1 1/2 hours later

Thanks Denis, I guess because the fillets are so big I got the illusion of the whole ribcage on one side!
So I haven,t learnt a new way to fillet KGW.
