I'm having too much fun on the salmon to go sit on a pier and target something else to be honest.

Might have a poke around some freshwater early next week.

Turning 31 on Saturday and driving to geelong for training then lunch, have to open Mulberry Hill again on Sunday so i'll be back Saturday night. Sunday morning is a distinct possibility but I don't know what the conditions (including mine) might be like.

Ducky, I think I'd like to join too, just want a better understanding of how it all works as I have never entered one before? Where does the money for the entry fee go? Are prizes awarded per species or to the anglers with the biggest bag covering as many species as they can?
