looks like a Td minnow 120sp in golden shiner. I don't think they don't make Dc's that big

What he said. Awesome shallow diving hard with plenty of action for the depth it dives. 19 grams with a sliding internal weight so it casts a good distance too. Can punch it out around 40-50m

Big lure big fish. Never thought I'd be throwing 12cm lures for trout though haha.

If I pulled it out of a clean water source Id have a crack at smoking them.

I tell you what. The other day I took my wife and kids to go eeling. Got bitten off at the bank. Yesterday I had a crack and again got bitten off. Today I wasn't screwing around. Brought the net. Lip grips and was under the cover of darkness. God I'm glad I was. They are nasty little critters haha. They can virtually survive an apocalypse too. Glad no one else was present as I was trying to sort it out too. Won't take the kids eeling either.

Next one on the list is roach I think. Gotta give this coarse angling a crack.

If I had my time again Id want an esky full of iced water and just drop the eel in whole to let the cold do the trick.

I heard there's a trick where you smack them on the tail which makes them go limp, then you kill them
