Just a reminder to anyone who is thinking of joining this awesome species competition;

Entries Close: February 18th at midnight. (TOMORROW NIGHT!)

The comp actually runs until the 8th of June 2014 @4:00pm, so that's nearly 4 months to upsize your species!

How cool is that...

If I have time to fish, I will join.

If this is a contest for longest commulative salmon length joined nose to tail, I will join. Just 1 more month before they show up in numbers in northern PPB.

Have been out 4 times since entering the comp and doughnuts each time, longest dry spell in years.
Been to the surf, lake and rivers.

Finally got the camera download jigger to work,

On the way home from shopping today and had the rod in the car so thought I'd have a few casts in a local lake. Bammm! 36cm Redfin!! My pb I think...

Redfin 44cm. Yellow belly 39cm. Carp 81cm. Rainbow trout 33cm.

SALT: mullet 38cm. Trevally 43cm. KG Whiting 28cm. Squid 20cm.
