We reckon we are pretty efficient carp slayers, purrrrrfect to be exact, so we have decided to put our money where our mouth is! More so, our owner’s money as we have broken into his tacklebox again and knocked off some lures for a prize. We told him a cat burglar did it!
So here it is – Miffy and Sparkles vs the Fishing Victoria lady members – Battle Of The Sexes Carp Challenge! :Boxing:
So who is eligible? All current members of Fishing Victoria who are girls! We know there are a few around, some that post often, some that don’t. Also to be eligible, you must have had at least one previous post.
Victorian fishing regs apply and carp can be caught from any Australian waters. Hey, we don’t care cos your not gonna beat us anyway! :rofl:
The idea is to get a bigger carp than we get in the time period. If you do then the lures are yours. If we aren’t beaten, then the lady with the biggest carp wins second prize (choice of 2 of the lures).
The comp starts as soon as Jon adds the code word and ends at 9pm on Sunday 15th of June. Jon (FishVic) will supply us with a code word. If there are any catfights regarding clarity of pics (Sparkles has been known to play dirty) Jon will decide if the pic is eligible. The carp is to be photographed on a brag mat, DEPI fish ruler or a tape measure. The code word must be clearly displayed in the pic and the length of the fish must be clearly displayed.
If the fish is exceptionally large and the length of the fish is not that clear in the pic, get a close up of the tail as well. Honesty is the key and we must say we trust all you ladies. Entries can be posted on this thread as well as copious amounts of trash talk! :Blah:
We can envisage a stampede of ladies heading towards Coburg Lake with their carp rods in tow. We don’t care cos honestly you will need all the help you can get. Team M & S are a well oiled carp cullin’ machine. Sparkles has been doin 400 push ups a day after having 30 Weet Bix and six slabs of wet cat food for breakfast! He is pumped and muscled up! He bit the leg of a Rottweiler the other day!
Recapping – to be eligible – you must be a girl, be a current member and have at least one post!
