Here's my tu'penneth,

1. 12 fish, (one for every month. Fish of the month counts double?).
2. 50/50 salt/fresh
3. I think a points system would be better. I appreciate this would require up front thought but I'd use the legal size limit then increment in 10% stages?
4. Option to pay by cheque - I don't trust the internet
There is no such thing as a stupid question, only a stupid answer.

Love the idea Duckster,

One question, What's a roach and how do I catch one?

Looks good. Will it be winner takes all or broken up into a couple of categories?

**** I forgot to mention, 60-20-20% Winner of overalltakes 60% and winner of each class, fresh/salt takes 20%

dougie, roach are a small pest species sort of like a combo between carp and redfin. can find them in a lot of suburban waterways.

So if the overall winner also wins both the fresh and salt classes they take 100%?

correct. but it also means a dedicated freshwater fisho can aim for the class win without needing to hit the salt. and vice versa. if we get 40 entrants theres gonna be a $1k prize pool. leaves $200 for a class win. Pretty good prize I think.
