Port Fairy - Boat Fishing

Post by yepi'mon » Wed Dec 19, 2018 3:53 pm

Hi Guys

Heading down to Port Fairy over new years and considering taking the boat up for a few off shore trips.

I am going to have some young kids on a few of the outings and some adults who aren't super keen fisho's.

Would like to hit up some reefs, easy drifts, fish some rubble etc.

I've taken a look at some sonar charts to try and pick up some pinnacles, drop off's etc but wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to catch some bread and butter species like Gummies, snapper & whiting.

Can travel a fair way offshore but looking for it to be easy rather than hardcore...

Cheers  & merry Christmas to all.
