Anyone fished Tongue Point at Wilsons Prom?
In the neverending quest for rock spots i'm targeting this spot soon. The recent links provided here have confirmed my thinking that it drops into very deep water very quickly. I intend to scout the place light and mobile later in the week.
Does anyone have any experience fishing here that they would like to share?

Not sure where you intend to rock fish. Only been once. I walked over tidal river along the trail to Squeaky beach. And fished the rocks into Leonard Bay. Drifted bait in the rough currents. A bunch of chunky parrot fish and a port Jackson in an hour. One guy spinning for Salmon off the beach. Was a nice, not so dodgy rock spot, not a soul around.

Yeah it looks a fair walk alright and probably snakes around too but then again could be great spot because of the long walk and not too many fishermen.

The walk in doesn't bother me as long as nobody wears sandals....*looks at Carl*
Apparently it's absolutely stunning.....and drops straight into 15m of water.
