Hi all, hope everyone has had a chance lately to get a line in the water and even a few bent rods.
Taking a couple of guys down to Phillip Island this weekend and are planning on trying a bit of land based fishing.
Have never fished down that way so I'm after any advice or tips on where to try, beaches, rock landings etc
Not after any secret spots but would like to land a couple, also are you any chance to get a gummie land based or only by boat in the deeper water?
Thanks in advance

try the beach of ventnor rd, i think its called Flynns Beach. fished off here last weekend in a boat, we had a great session on the incoming tide.

Cowes pier is generally good place there. Anything is possible off that pier
