Yes, best to get a couple of these and tie them to the droppers on your paternoster rig: http://www.rayannes.com.au/online-store ... po-170-69/
If you cant catch salmon with bait or surf poppers or salmon metal lures your chances are low buy changing to expensive lures amd probably is a waist of money

Yeah I am using that one, so definitely not the surface poppers?smile0784 wrote:We were.using more like these onesElly27 wrote:Is this the correct one?smile0784 wrote:Im sure your catch rate will increase by 5 or 10% with the use of lures over $100 lolElly27 wrote:So if I pay $140 I have a high chance of catching good size Salmon?4liters wrote: Do you want to catch a fish or not?

FMD!! Talk about a laugh. Mate walk down a beach with a metal flicking it out as you go. Almost can’t not catch a salmon. I hear surf poppers work best when used with a fly rod.

That one looks fine. I have caught many with the red one. Lost the bait on the other hook but many times caught the fish on the popper.Elly27 wrote:Is this the correct one?smile0784 wrote:Im sure your catch rate will increase by 5 or 10% with the use of lures over $100 lolElly27 wrote:So if I pay $140 I have a high chance of catching good size Salmon?4liters wrote:Do you want to catch a fish or not?Elly27 wrote:

So you think forget using the surf popper? Just use the metal lure? What about using bait?Hosery wrote:FMD!! Talk about a laugh. Mate walk down a beach with a metal flicking it out as you go. Almost can’t not catch a salmon. I hear surf poppers work best when used with a fly rod.
Should I do a full fishing session with metal lure reeling or alternate between bait and lures?
