The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad

Re: the Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party
I'm very reluctant to even comment in this thread. I will say that I did my postal vote today and it was a big piece of paper. There were many parties and candidates that I don't know much about so I spent a few hours researching their polices on the internet before I started numbering boxes. I discovered that there are actually a few parties that have policies that reflect my beliefs much better than the labs or Libs. I voted accordingly. I would highly recommend anyone else should also do the same thing. Most parties have a website with a single page outlining their major positions and policies. There are more than 2 parties to select from (although most people would never know it) and it's not meant to be a popularity contest. The voting preference system has changed and its now easier to select your preferences without numbering over 100 boxes. Use it to your advantage. At the end of the day, lab or lib will likely win but your vote and preferences may be able to influence the make up of the parliment/senate and hence the future policies that effect you, me, us.
Please research "the policies" of who you for and make your vote count for what you believe in. The party names can be deceiving.
Here's to a better future for us all.
