Just wondering do snapper work as good in a scaling bag as the whiting do?

Hey mate,

Tried it once on some pinkies, will never try it again.
The flesh became a bit mushy and the spines became stuck in the net.

Same experience for me, whiting don't have the spines and have much smaller scales which come out easier.

I just use a esky and ice blocks now if im keeping a smapper.
