Re: Banner clicking ?
Yes it does help each time a banner ad is genuinely clicked. I wouldn't encourage clicking all the banners, then closing them! These will simply count as invalid traffic with Google Ad-senses algorithm.hornet wrote:I was cruising the forum and got to thinking, if I click all the advertising banners then close them will the forum get a kick back ?
If so then all members could do the same and it will help the forum ... or have I got this arse about ?
Actually both page impressions and clicks.4liters wrote:they work on views rather than clicks don't they?
There is a benefit, without Google Adsense supporting us, this forum would not exist! :thumbsup:hornet wrote:Then why is admin allowing it if there is no return or benefit for the space ?ducky wrote:Short answer. No. Long answer. No, no.
signed .. confused...
Every click and impression helps, but I don't actively encourage it. It kind of goes without saying...purple5ive wrote:Pretty sure FV gets paid for the clicks, there was a post about it some time ago mentioning members to occasionally click a few here and there.
Yep, the types of ads can be targeted specifically to you based on your recent browser search history.rb85 wrote:Speaking of adds why one day is it fishing tackle the next Asian brides.
Google does have some reasonably advanced technology! There is a bit of info here for anyone interested:
