Hi Alex
I'm no expert believe me ha ha, but, my general guide would be,
Because Corio Bay roughly shapes up as east-west in orientation, then any (under 20 knot wind) northerly or southerly wind won't be too bothersome.
But there are many factors involved that I'm learning about too, not only wind speed, there's direction and wind/wave action, and the tide speed and direction.
These factors and others I guess all affect the water.
Ive just checked the app I use ( it does, and probably will vary between now an Saturday as the forecast updates) and it looks like a easterly that swings south later in the afternoon. Under 10 knots most of the day.
So to me it looks great - so far, Fingers crossed.

Hi Alex, I use the app called Fish Ranger, there are others available like Willy Weather but I reckon Fish Ranger is simple to use and easy to interpret.
It's got forecast, temperatures, wind, wave height, tide times, sunrise sunset, air pressure all on the one page.
If you register you can save a group of locations to quick select. You can have any locations too so I reckon it would be ok for inland and freshwater fishing as well.
