If you going to cast lures ect i casting deck is a huge bonus to cast from up high.

Thats what I'm starting to look at not 100% sure whether to build a casting deck to suit from a shell or by a ready made boat.
i built my own casting deck.. if i had the time around again i would buy the boat with everything i wanted already in it, if you have time and required tools to do the fitout then by all means save some $$$ and do that, i had no time and no proper tools but still got it done.
A casting deck and trolling motor is an absolute must for Bream, bass and EP im not sure about barra as i havent caught one or targeted them yet, id say they would be similar..

Mine is a 4.2m with a Not so common hull shape , has a VEE with massive reverse chines on it. and it is only available in open boat/console models but with no add ons whasoever.. so you have to fit it out yourself if you want casting decks and what not, hence why i had to do it myself...

Yes the Hornet is an estuary Hull, will be perfect.

or you can go poly hulls like mine, they are nice and stealth and very quiet so its good for the bream, bass and ep. plus the added bonus of being able to be launched almost anywhere and is almost unsinkable. plus its extremely stable at rest.
negatives are, no casting decks storage is limited. but if you can do it yourself like i did then that sorts it out.
