Soft plastics for Rainbow Trout?

Post by fishing_minnow » Fri Oct 13, 2017 7:29 pm

So, recently I'm getting bored of bait fishing for stocked rainbow trout and I wanted to move onto soft plastics. It is has a lot more action involved and I'm constantly doing something. Does anyone have a suggestion for this? The ones I fish for are usually around the 25-30 cm mark. What jighead and soft plastic should I use? I fish at Karkarook lake the most. I would much appreciate a helpful reply. Cheers. :fish22: :water: :fish22:

Get into the strike tiger sps, great range for trout fishing. The nymphs, hawgs & t tails are all proven winners.

Jig head size will vary depending on the sp size & water depth your fishing. Go the lightest possible weight to let the sp look natural in its sinking flutter.
