What would you say is an excellent lure for targeting small EPs around dusk? I've got an ultralight setup.
Timeco Tiny Cicada or small surface lures such as a Jackall Micro Tappy.

the daiwa surface lures are great on the EPs.

twitch - pause - twitch at around 30 seconds & they usually hit them on the pause.

If you're lite set up can cast the shiranui, its a gun EP lure. They used to have a red one, if you can find it great on dusk.

or if you need the extra weight to cast try these in the clown, suji, sushi prawn & rainbow

My daiwa slippery dog in the sushi prawn colour is battle scarred and onto its second set of trebles from EP's. They're great to cast on a 1-3kg setup too.

I don't think they're too fussy though when they're on, especially in the stocked impoundments.
